Terrassa (Barcelona)- 2001
Construction of the facades for the headquarters of Caixa Terrassa by way of a double skin facade with natural ventilation and formed by a mixed system of rolled structural steel shapes on the inner skin and structural glass on the outer skin.
The inner skin was constructed using Bellapart WINDpart profiles in the form of a mast and ones that were used to fix the PUNTpart CT spiders specially designed to fix the outer skin using PUNTpart ball-and-socket joints and equipped with the needed distance between the skins in a way that would allow for the optimal amount of air flow for natural ventilation that, combined with the installation of a screen in the above mentioned air chambre would achieve, in this way, energy efficiency within the building.
