Flagship store Champs Élysées

Paris (France) - 2018

Remodelling of an existing building at 114 Avenue des Champs Elysées. The outstanding feature of this project is the construction of a pentagonal skylight with a surface area of 180m2, located on the 5th floor of an internal courtyard of the building. The skylight is ATEX certified with a RAICO system and finished with outer layers of aluminium.

This skylight includes 50 variable geometry pyramids that form a kaleidoscope from the interior of the courtyard. These micro-perforated honeycomb panel acoustic pyramids are supported on the skylight structure.

At the main entrance a motorised door of 4m in height has been installed and the lateral panes have been adapted to the moulding of the old building. The panes of the external windows measure between 3 and 4.5 metres in height with waxed brass finishes. In different areas of the building, Bellapart has installed the glass railings with an extruded brass handrail and waxed forged brass sheets.
