Cazorla Town Hall

Cazorla, Jaén (Spanien) - 2003

Construction of a glass roof to cover the Town Hall's interior patio by way of the installation of a structure composed of tubular 15m trusses anchored above and below by variable section steel connecting rods in the form of a cross. Laminated glass enclosure with an overhead glazing point-fixed support system, suspended on the interior face of the metal structure.

The overhead glazing system, which allows for fixation of the PVB sheet or glass SGP, has proven to be an ideal system in the case of breakage in the glass hung below the structure, since it assures the post-breakage stability of the point-fixed glass.
